
The North of England Head of the River Race
Royal Chester has hosted the North of England Head of the River Race since its inauguration in 1935. It was the first event of its kind established outside London and is entered by top Club and University crews from across the country.
This years race takes place on Saturday 8th March. The course is 5km from Eccleston to Dee Lane and is run under ARA rules.
